from the kitchen....

ooh! I got my shipment in of poly-lined bags, and individual tea bags (individual serving and mad pot sized!) in order to be package my teas in a variety of ways. I am looking forward to not only being able to blend people their own personal tea blends, but also be able to offer it in a # of ways.

Slowly but surely, the pieces are falling into line. Purchasing the right variety of tools to help me carry out this passion. I've had more feedback about my teas....though still have not heard from the tea companies that I sent them to. That's fine. I guess if they don't hire me, I'll be blending my own line of teas anyway.

I get a lot of people asking me how I know how to blend -- I've found there is no one answer to that...trial and error? research? Inspiration? Taste? Intuition? I don't know, I just know that it happens. I know I can lose time in the kitchen blending, peeling, crushing, cutting and mixing. I'm starting to wake up and blend a tea before work! I can't tell you how many times I've had to "remember" that I actually have to be at work...I love being in my kitchen. It's the most calming place. It's like meditation only instead of chanting a mantra, I'm repeating a recipe.

I just found your blog. I'll keep a sharp eye for a tea blend that appeals to me and shoot you an email.

Keep up the fine work.
