The gift of tea

It has been my pleasure to design teas for my friends recently. I find that teas based on a person that I have in mind are always more complex, tastier and by far more unique...as an artist, I crave inspiraton.

One friend is pregnant and I was able to blend her a special herbal treat for her to enjoy, that was soothing, relaxing and tonifying for lower body stress.

Another friend is going to art school and highly stressed. I made a minty blend that calmed the nerves and at the same time was as colorful as the pictures she paints.

Expressing my love and friendship through special blends has been a priviledge for me. That I can create an enjoyable treat and that no one else could possibly offer as a gift has made me excited to continue pursuing this passion when at times it feels like I am doing this for no one else but myself.

But then an opportunity arises like it did last week when I got the chance to create not one, but 2 "wedding teas" - one for the bride, one for the groom that were based in herbs and tea that inspire and enhance sensuality and desire.

So basically, I'm on the continuous search for inspiration.
